Decisions like this are never easy to make. After a discussion with our Trustees, I have made the decision to cancel worship today, December 14 and will postpone the Blue Christmas service until next Sunday, December 21 at 4:00pm. 

 

Part of the reason for this is out of an abundance of caution because of the wind chill. It certainly is cold out there! The second is because of the snow we continue to get up here in South Bend and on my travel route to Knox.

 

While my primary concern is you and your safety, I also have to look out for me and mine. That often means recognizing my own limitations as it relates to driving in conditions like this. With the snow that we continue to get this morning in the South Bend area and between me and you, I do not feel comfortable making that journey.

 

This week's message will be posted on Facebook and placed on the website. I will send out another blast email when that is complete. Please stay warm today and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

 

If it would simply stop snowing this much on the weekends, that would be great!
